Uzbekistan is our four star trip and it is breakfast only. On most of what we run the hotel is four star or five and at least two meals a day are in the price. Here the hotel is the four star Ramada by Wyndham and the only meal in the price is breakfast. Lunch and dinner are yours, every day. That is why this trip costs what it costs, and a traveller who works that out at a restaurant table on day two is a traveller we have lost, so it is on the page instead.
The second one is the paperwork. What is inside the price is the invitation letter, and that is not the same thing as us handling your visa end to end, which is what we do on most of the other destinations here. Ask us what the visa route for your passport looks like and what it costs, and we will put the answer in writing before you pay anything. Where anything else on this page reads as though the whole visa is ours to carry on this trip, the paragraph you are reading is the one that is right.

If it is refused
Visa, embassy and visa service fees are not refunded, whatever the outcome. Anything else not yet spent is refunded, and we give you the figure in writing before you pay.

Questions families ask
The visa
If my Uzbekistan visa is refused, how much money do I lose to the authorities?
Nothing to the Uzbek government, because the fee is not taken until you collect the visa. The Uzbek Embassy in Islamabad lists consular fees among the tourist visa requirements and states that they are to be paid on collection only, and separately that applicants have to come personally to collect their visas.
Can I just use the Uzbekistan e-visa?
No. Pakistan is not in Uzbekistan's electronic visa system.
What does an Uzbekistan tourist visa cost?
The Uzbek Embassy in Islamabad publishes a single-entry consular fee scale of 40 US dollars for up to 7 days, 50 dollars for up to 15 days, 60 dollars for up to 30 days, 80 dollars for up to 3 months, 120 dollars for up to 6 months and 160 dollars for up to 1 year. A multiple-entry visa is 150 dollars for up to 6 months and 250 dollars for up to 1 year.
What does Uzbekistan actually require from a Pakistani tourist?
The Uzbek Embassy in Islamabad requires a copy of an invitation letter from a tourist company in Uzbekistan, a completed and signed application form generated at evisa.mfa.

What happens to my money if the trip falls through?
IBEX charges no processing fee and no cancellation fee of its own. Whatever comes off is what the airline or the embassy keeps, and we show you what it was. Ask us for the figure on your own trip before you pay anything, and we will put it in writing.

Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit on our tours. Everyone is allowed, at any age, and children travel at a child fare.
