Read more about Malaysia

Malaysia is the easiest long-haul country we sell. It is Muslim-majority, the food is halal by default, the signage is in Latin script, English is everywhere, and Kuala Lumpur works the way a modern city should: the Petronas Towers and the KLCC park beneath them, the Batu Caves, the Islamic Arts Museum, the Istana Negara gates, and the night markets of Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor.

We have taken groups through Kuala Lumpur before, on our multi country Asia trip, and the photographs on this page are from one of those departures rather than from a picture library.

This group leaves in December and runs over the New Year. The cities beyond Kuala Lumpur, the day by day plan, the airline and the departure city are not published here yet, because the written itinerary has not reached us. Ask us on WhatsApp and we send what is confirmed.

We apply for your visa

We do the applying

Malaysia issues Pakistani passport holders an eVisa, and applying for it is part of the package. We handle the portal, the fees and the paperwork on your behalf.

What we need from you

We send you the list of documents for your passport and check them before anything is filed. If an appointment, biometrics or extra papers are needed for your passport, we tell you what and when.

If it is refused

Visa, embassy and visa service fees are not refunded, whatever the outcome. Anything else not yet spent is refunded, and we give you the figure in writing before you pay.

Great experience of travelling with ibex. Had few issues with my documents initially but later on they were sorted. The trip was amazing and very well curated.

Questions families ask

The visa

If my Malaysia visa is refused, how much money do I lose to the authorities?

You lose roughly RM 125 and possibly a little more, and almost all of it is the processing charge rather than the visa. Malaysia's official MyVISA eVISA portal, run by the Immigration Department of Malaysia, sets out three charges: the visa fee, which is based on nationality and is RM 20.

Does a Pakistani have to use Malaysia's eVISA?

Yes, for a tourist trip. Malaysia's official MyVISA portal states that the eVISA is compulsory for 31 specific nationalities for entry into Malaysia for social visit purposes such as tourism, family visits or short business trips, and Pakistan is on that list of 31.

Why is the Malaysia visa quoted as RM 20 in some places and much more in others?

Because RM 20 is only the visa fee, and it is the smallest of three charges. The Immigration Department of Malaysia's statutory fee table lists Pakistan at RM 20.

How do I pay for a Malaysia eVISA from Pakistan?

Online only, by credit card or e-wallet. Malaysia's official MyVISA portal states the available payment methods are credit card and e-wallet, naming Alipay and WeChat Pay, and states plainly that no, an eVISA application can only be paid online through the eVISA application.
