What a Baku group tour really costs from Pakistan, broken down
The published price, what is inside it, what you still pay for yourself, and the questions that tell you whether a cheaper quote is actually cheaper.

Most people asking what a trip costs are really asking a different question: what will I have spent by the time I am home. A package price answers part of that and pretends to answer all of it. Here is the whole picture for a Baku group departure.
The current figure, and the date we last checked it:
That number comes from the live departure record rather than from this article, which is deliberate. A price typed into a paragraph is wrong within a season and nobody ever goes back to fix it.
What is inside the price
On our Baku departure the package covers the international flight, the visa, your accommodation, airport transfers and transport during the trip, the listed tours with entry tickets to the sites in them, and meals on the pattern set out on the destination page. The hotel and the meal pattern are stated there rather than here for the same reason as the price: those are facts about a departure, and they belong on the departure.
Two of those deserve attention because they are what separate quotes that look similar.
The visa is inside the price. You do not pay a separate fee, you do not book an appointment, and you do not file the application. Our desk does it.
The transport is inside the price. Airport transfers at both ends and the travel between sites are covered, so you are not negotiating a taxi in a city you have never been to at midnight on your first night abroad.
What you still pay for
This is the part that is missing from most quotes you will see, and it is the part that decides whether your trip felt affordable.
- On site charges at the hotel. City taxes, resort fees, security deposits and anything you order to your room are paid by you, directly, at the hotel. A card in your own name makes this simpler than cash.
- Your own spending. Souvenirs, coffee, anything you buy in a market, and meals that fall outside the pattern covered by the package.
- Optional activities. Anything not listed in the plan for the day.
- A room to yourself. Group prices are quoted on a sharing basis. A room of your own costs more, and the supplement depends on the departure, so ask us for it before you book rather than after.
- Travel insurance. It is not stated as included, so ask us about it before you travel rather than assuming either way.
- Getting to your departure city. Baku departures leave from Lahore and Islamabad. If you are flying from Karachi, Peshawar or Multan, ask us to book the connection when you book the tour.
- Before you leave. Passport renewal if yours is close to expiry, and photographs to the specification. Small, but they land before anything else does.
How to compare two quotes properly
A cheaper number usually means a different trip. Six questions turn two quotes into a comparison:
- Is the international flight included, and from which city?
- Is the visa included, and who files it?
- What class of hotel, and where is it? A hotel an hour outside the centre costs less and costs you an hour twice a day.
- Which meals are included, and on how many days?
- Are airport transfers and transport between sites included?
- Is this a departure that is actually running, with dates, or an idea that needs a minimum number of people before it becomes real?
The last one is the one people forget. A price for a trip that never departs is not a price.
When you pay
A deposit confirms your seat and the balance is payable before departure on the milestones set out in your booking confirmation. The current deposit and the schedule are on the booking terms page, and how to book sets out the order things happen in.
Before you pay anything, ask us what happens to your money if your visa is refused. It is the right question and we would rather you asked it early.
Is a group cheaper than doing it yourself
Sometimes, and not always. It depends on how you travel and what your time is worth to you. We have written that comparison out honestly for Türkiye, and the reasoning holds for Baku too: group tour or do it yourself.
