Tour Itinarary
Arrival in Chitral
- Depart from Islamabad by road at 07:00 AM.
- Flight from Islamabad International airport at 02:00 PM
- Arrival at Chitral Airport 03:00 PM.
- 4*4 Parado’s will be at the airport to pick us up.
- We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
- Afterwards we will travel towards Shahi Majid Chitral.
- It is located on the bank of the Chitral river adjacent to the Chitral Fort. It was the principal mosque of Chitral at the time of the existence of the State of Chitral. The mosque was built on the orders of the ruler Shuja ul-Mulk in 1924.
- Visit Chitral fort. Situated on the banks of the Chitral River. The fort has a commanding position on the river and is believed to have been built in 1774 during the reign of Mohtaram Shah Katur II and restored in 1911 by His Highness Sir Shuja ul-Mulk.
- Arrival by Road participants.
- We will savor Dinner at hotel with the blend of local cuisines.

Gol National Park
- Start your day with an appetizing breakfast.
- Visit of Shahi Masjid and Chitral Fort for participants who arrived by raod.
- Travel towards Gol National Park .
- Chitral Gol National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1979 and a National Park in 1984. Chitral Gol National Park is surrounded by high Hindukush peaks and is a habitat of a number of wildlife like Kashmir Markhor, Ibex, Snow Leopard, Lynx, Chakor, Ram Chakor, Pheasant and a large variety of birds and wild animals.
- National bird of Pakistan, Chakor, National animal of Pakistan, Markhor, National flower Jasmin and National Tree, Diyar are also found in Chitral Gol National Park.
- Lunch Boxes will be provided here, we will eat while gandering at the majestic sceneries.
- After this excursion we will return back to Chitral and travel towards Markhoor watching Spot.
- Afterwards we will have a delightful dinner.
- Overnight Stay at the hotel.
Kalash Valley
- Enjoy breakfast to boost your energy.
- Afterwards we will travel towards Kalash Valley.
- People who live in these valleys are called Kalasha people, who have a unique culture, traditions, language and follow an ancient form of Hinduism
- Main festivities of Uchal Festival will occur this day.
- We will Travel towards Rumbur Valley to to be a part of the 1st main event that will happen there.
- Uchal festival celebration is to pay homage to Almighty for blessing them with good food and crops. They prepare corn, buttermilk, and cheese to celebrate the festival and rejoice Uchao.
- Uchal Festival Kalash is celebrated in annual harvesting with singing, dancing and paying homage to nature for blessing them with the barley and wheat harvest season every year in August.
- Then we will travel towards Bamboret to experience the festivals further main events that will happen here.
- Lunch will be served in Bamboret.
- We will be accompanied by Local Guides who will educate us on the Heritage, Culture and History of the Kalasha people.
- It’s time for some mouthwatering Dinner and then sit around the bonfire to have meaningful conversations.
- Overnight at Bamboret.
Karakal Village - Graveyard
- Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Kalash Museum. Kalasha Dur Museum, also known as Bumburet Museum, houses a collection related to the culture and history of the Kalash people, as well as of the communities of the wider Hindu Kush area.
- Travel towards Karakal Village.
- Karakal is the most famous and religiously significant village of Kalash people. Lying almost at the end of Bamburat valley, it features wooden houses – stacked in tiers, narrow streets and central sitting/dancing area.
- Visit Madokjal (old Kalash graveyard).
- Afterwards we will have lunch at Bamboret.
- Travel back to Chitral.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Chitral.
Back to Islamabad
- Breakfast at the hotel and Check Out.
- By Road participants will depart at 07:30 AM
- Travel towards AIrport at 02:00 PM
- Flight to Islamabad at 03:50 PM.
